WRC Rally Italy: Thierry Neuville puts Hyundai in early lead

World Rally Championship racer Thierry Neuville won the Rally race on June 8th 2017. He was driving a car sponsored by Hyundai. He won the race with a time of two minutes and eighteen seconds. The second place finisher was only 0.2 seconds behind him. The race was really close!

Key Takeaways:

  • Thierry Neuville won’t first place in the WRC Rally in Italy.
  • Even with a stuck wiperblade Ittiri Arena his time was still enough to win 2nd place.
  • The three Toyotas of Jari-Matti Latvala, Esapekka Lappi and Juho Hanninen all struggled on the opener, filling the immediate spots outside of the top 10 respectively.
