While not overly common in America, Tarmac rallies are a step above your average car race. These races are ran on closed public roads, under the conditions these roads naturally possess. Inevitably these races are more challenging and dangerous; however the Druidale stage presents an even greater element of danger. This stretch of road is narrow and bumpy, so a driver in this race can never expect to have all 4 tires on the road at the same time. Under these conditions, it is no surprise this rough ride has earned the reputation as the hardest stage in the world.
