A second hearing regarding Google Maps and a rival service appeared before Lord Justice David Lloyd Jones in London’s Administrative Court recently and was decided in favor of Google Maps. Streetmap, the Google Maps rival, claimed Google had unfairly skewed the search process, as it was in a position of power to do this. And in so doing, Google tipped the market away from Streetmap. An earlier decision was made that Streetmap was legitimately harmed by these actions, but deemed the damage not appreciable. The second hearing threw out further arguments made by Streetmap.
