Mapping the Internment of Japanese Americans

Justice Deferred, a new website, takes an intimate look at Japanese Americans detained in detention camps following the bombing of Pearl Harbor in 1941. Included is a story map that helps us to visualize the camp system. The engaging visual helps us to understand the geography, reach, and impact on Japanese American citizens between 1942 and 1946.
