In the Grand Teton National Park lives a famous female grizzly bear named No. 399. She has a guide book and Twitter account dedicated to her, and is hugely popular amongst tourists. This year, park watchers observed that she had given birth to a new cub; the cub nicknamed Snowy. Tragically, the cub was recently killed in a hit-and-run car accident. The body was removed by rangers, who plan to use it in education.
